S u m m a r y:
The authors analyzed data of five patients with primary non-Hodgkin lymphoma ofthe salivary gland who were diagnosed and operated during the last two years in their department.It is a lymphoma based on lymphoid tissue present in the area of epithelium of the ducts - mucosaassociated lymphoid tissue (MALT). They were interested in the case-history, possibilities ofcytodiagnosis, surgical treatment, subsequent oncological treatment, follow-up. Cytologically in twocases the findings were described as lymphoepithelial lesions, in one instance as a lymphoma.Surgery involved in two cases parotidectomy, twice extirpation of the tumour, once probatoryexcision. After surgery three patients had chemotherapy, two actinotherapy. The mean follow-upperiod is 20.4 months, the patients are free from signs of the original disease.
