Overview
The changes in medical insurance realized since January 1st, 2009 rather significantly influenced the development of working disability (sick leave) for disease and injury. The impact of the given changes can be observed in medical statistics in the years 2007–2010 in all basic indices of health insurance. There is also of interest the observation of selected groups of diagnoses in connection with the changes in medical insurance. The reported statistical data deserve a deeper analysis for the evaluation of real impact which in by no means limited to economic aspects
