Overview
In the paper, the author analyzes the development of temporary working disability in abdominal and laparoscopic vaginal hysterectomy in a regional hospital during the last five years. She discusess the impact on the length of working disability after introducing laparoscopic surgery techniques in gynecological procedures. The positive impact of the laparoscopic surgery on shortening temporary working disability and overall savings on the treatment of women who underwent gynecological surgery was proved in the followed up sample.
