V článku jsou shrnuty poznatky o rýmě -⁠ definice rýmy, klasifikace rýmy a klinický obraz. Novější poznatky se týkají mykotické infekce a některých vyšetřovacích možností. V diferenciální diagnóze rinosinusitidy připadá v úvahu celá řada onemocnění. Autor uvádí možnosti terapie rýmy, zmiňuje se o vztahu horních a dolních cest dýchacích.
