Overview
Authors present problems in understanding of the psychopathological spektrum “restlessness – agitation – aggression“ in routine clinical practice, further accompanied by summary of therapeutic approaches in management of agitation in hospitalized seniors. Problem of agitation in hospitalized seniors is presented with special attention paid to the differential diagnostics of agitation, what is demonstrated in three case reports of patients who have been hospitalized in women inpatient psychogeriatric ward of Mental hospital in Kromeriz.
