Overview
The authors present a method of paraffin infiltration applied to heart specimens. They describethe dissection, trimming and fixation of the specimen which is followed by common tissue dehyd-ration and infiltration by paraffin wax. Thus preserved permanent specimen allows both retai-ning the entire organ and visualizing its particular structures.
