Autori zhodnotili 17 vyšetrení vysokorozlišovacou komputerovou tomografiou (HRCT) pľúc u detí s cystickou fibrózou (CF). Vyhodnocovali podľa skórovacieho systému rozsah, typ, závažnosť zmien na pľúcach pri CF. Výsledky porovnali s výsledkami klasickej snímky hrudníka (KSH) v PA projekcii. HRCT je užitočné pri klinickom sledovaní pacienta, má viacero výhod oproti klasickej snímke a je viac senzitívne a špecifické ako klasická snímka hrudníka.
