Unusual Case of Squamous Cell Carcinoma

An unusual case of squamous cell carcinoma that developed in a chronic lesion of lichen planushypertrophicus of the lower leg is described. The authors point out the necessity of an early diagnosisof squamous cell carcinoma and the fact that cutaneous lichen planus hypertrophicus located on thelower extremities can be a risk factor for the development of squamous cell carcinoma.
