Overview

The authors present a review of clinical, laboratory, histopathological and X-ray findings in osteo- articular tuberculosis. They present an analysis of causes of late assessment of the diagnosis of TB of the bones. Attention is devoted to population groups exposed to a greater risk of the disease. They mention also treatment which is within the competence of departments concerned with extrapul- monary tuberculosis.
