Overview
Objective:
Targeted treatment in ovarian cancer patients.Design:
Practical paper.Setting:
Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Medical Faculty Charles University, Prague and University Hospital, Hradec Králové.Conclusion:
Targeted treatment is possible based on particular characteristics of single tumors in ovarian cancer patients. Better understanding of tumor biology should contribute to predict certain patients would benefit most from use of targeted treatment.Key words:
