Study evaluated the efficiency of initial therapy in the group of 80 patients.Periodontal tissues status during the treatment was evaluated by these indices – PBI, CPITN,depth of periodontal pockets was measured in the subgroup of patients. Authors reported thatpatient’s interest in treatment increased when the disease is more severe. They also provedhigh efficiency of the initial therapy and feasibility of this treatment for private dentists.
