Sinus floor elevation (sinus lift) is a proven technique with predictable results. The articledescribes the maxillary sinus anatomy, sinus lift surgical technique and its indications.Additional considerations affecting the surgical outcome are also discussed. The learningobjective of this article is to give up-to-date information regarding the basic technique of thesinus lift procedure to general practitioners as well as to specialists.
