The Survival Period of the Patients with Malignant Tumours ofthe Orofacial Region in the Kolín District

From 173 malignant tumours of the orofacial region dispenzarized in the Kolíndistrict in 1963 – 1998 years where dead in total 155 patients to the end 1998, i.e. 89.6 % (fromthis number 62 – 35.8 % – had malignant tumours, and 93 – 53. 8 % – other diseases). To thistime is surviving 18 patients, i.e. 10.4 %. Patients are dead in the mean age 72,8 years, theoldest dead female was 94 years old. The mean survival period was 8,2 years, from this numberin those who died from cancer reason 4.4 years. The results are summarized in two tables.
