Based on extensive material of patients with infectious eye diseases in southernTunisia, North Africa, using mathematical and statistical calculations, the authorprovided evidence of their seasonal rhythm and confirmed thus folk traditionsand old statements on trachoma. One year, special fromthe meteorological aspect,proved that these diseases are governed by meteorotropy.
