The journal features original papers, research results, comprehensive reports, case studies, postgraduate theses, clinical practice articles, reports from conferences and symposia and book reviews.

It provides information on new diagnostic methods in the field of eye diseases and their conservative and surgical therapy.

The journal is an integral part of the library of all physicians in the field and an aid for postgraduate education.
