The authors describe their experience with the first three glaucoma drainageimplants. All patients had previously several antiglaucomatous operations anda greatly reduced vision. The intraocular pressure was resistant to conservativetreatment. In all patients the authors recorded postoperative complications reported in the literature.Glaucoma drainage implants extend possibilities in patients with refractoryglaucoma
