The author presents an account on 27 patients with relapsing corneal erosion 6to 60 months after phototherapeutic keratectomy. The results of this treatmentconfirm unequivocally that the method is safe, highly effective and relieves thepatient rapidly and for a long period (possibly permanently) of complaints.A disadvantage is the high cost of the equipment.
