Endocapsular distance ring increases possibilities of extraction subluxated cata-ract. Its importance consists of stabilisation of capsular bag and with the possibi-lity of implantationposterior intraocular lens.In the group there are 20 patients with implantated 21 distance rings. The periodof follow up was 4-24 months. We used of a polymethyl methacrylate distance ringfrom firms Erilens, Morcher and IOLTechnology. Indication for the implantationof a distance ring was dialysis less than 2 quadrants, it depends on size and typeof distance ring. The authors evaluate complications during the operation andearly and later results after operation.
