Overview
Surface of the corneal stroma after microkeratome cut was assessed by classicaland environmental SEM. Environmental SEM allows magnification of tissuewithout it´s previous drying. It is easy to prepare tissue for environmental SEM.Disadvantage of this leading technique is smaller scale of magnification and smallangle of view. Classical SEM shows better the impact of LASIK on the cornea.
