Overview
The epidemiological study comprises patients treated by surgical intervention at the Clinic of Oral, Maxillary and Facial Surgery in Olomouc in 1997-1999. In 510 patients the authors excised 640 naevi in the orofacial region. The histological finding agreed with the clinical diagnosis in 444 (87%) patients.
