Česká a slovenská farmacie uveřejňuje: přehledy a odborná sdělení, původní práce, krátká sdělení, práce z dějin farmacie, zprávy o činnosti farmaceutických společností, o sjezdech, konferencích, sympoziích a jiných důležitých událostech, příspěvky z farmaceutické praxe, recenze knih a krátké informace (excerpta) ze zahraniční literatury. Uveřejňuje také limitované množství abstrakt z odborných akcí pořádaných Českou farmaceutickou společností. Počet a rozsah abstrakt je předem nutné dohodnout s redakcí časopisu.
Redakce přijímá pouze práce a příspěvky, které nebyly dosud uveřejněny ani zaslány k otištění jinému časopisu.

Časopis Česká a slovenská farmacie zpoplatňuje publikaci článků s dedikací grantového či jinak finančně podporovaného výzkumu a vývoje z veřejných zdrojů.
Cena jedné černobílé tiskové strany v časopisu je 1800 Kč včetně DPH a potřebnou částku lze čerpat z prostředků na tento výzkum.
Podmínky zveřejnění anglicky psaných textů s anglickými i českými souhrny zůstávají stejné jako pro publikace grantového výzkumu + 300 Kč za revizi tiskové strany anglického textu při korektuře včetně DPH. U anglických textů bez grantového výzkumu hradí autoři pouze za revizi jedné tiskové strany 300 Kč.
S oznámením o doručení rukopisu zašle redakce autorovi formulář objednávky k publikaci práce.

Úprava prací

1. Nadpis výstižně a stručně vyjadřuje obsah práce. U sérií je nutno v poznámce pod čarou citovat předcházející sdělení.
2. Autoři - uvádí se příjmení, potom zkratka jména, bez titulů (např. JANÁK J.)
3. Pracoviště - nezkrácený název, sídelní město, příp. země.
4. Úvod o předmětu prací a studované problematice. Zařazuje se pouze u původních prací.
5. Pokusná část obsahuje podrobný popis použitého materiálu a metod. Postupy známé z literatury se nepopisují, stačí příslušný odkaz. Rovněž se neuvádějí běžné, obecně používané metody.
6. Výsledky – stručné a výstižné shrnutí dosažených výsledků, které je rovněž možné uspořádat formou tabulek a grafů. Duplicitní informace je nepřípustná.
7. Diskuze – kritické hodnocení dosažených výsledků a jejich konfrontaci s údaji literatury.
8. Závěr je možné formulovat jako samostatnou kapitolu pouze, liší-li se podstatně od souhrnu.
9. Souhrn (u původních prací, krátkých sdělení, přehledů a prací z historie farmacie) v češtině/slovenštině a v angličtině umožňuje pochopení podstaty a výsledků práce, napomáhá publicitě práce prostřednictvím internetu. Píše se ve 3. osobě, rozsah maximálně 200 slov a 3 až 5 klíčových slov.
10. Literatura – pouze aktuální, použité prameny se uvádějí v pořadí, v jakém jsou citovány v textu. Citace časopisu se uvádí s plným zněním názvu článku a se všemi autory.

11. Autor – celé jméno s tituly, korespondenční adresa, telefon, fax a e-mailová adresa.
12. Krátká sdělení – předběžná, stručná prezentace nových významných výsledků bez diskuze. Souhrn a klíčová slova viz bod 9; rozsah textu 1200–1500 slov max. se 3 tabulkami nebo obrázky a maximálně se 3 literárními citacemi.

Požadavky na rukopis

• Rukopisy se do redakce zasílají v originálu s jednou kopií (včetně dokumentace), přičemž prvopis je možno ponechat anonymní (pro recenzní řízení). Na literaturu se odkazuje číselným indexem, např. Tomíček ³⁴⁾.
• Je třeba respektovat názvosloví organické chemie podle IUPAC. Odborná terminologie, zkratky a symboly musí odpovídat platným normám, zejména SI.
• K rukopisu je třeba přiložit text i obrazovou dokumentaci na elektronickém nosiči.
• Fotografie a výstupy z přístrojů přijímá redakce ve formátech tif, eps a jpg (z důvodů kvality nejlépe kompresní poměr 10–12), grafy v programu Excell, zpracované pro jednobarevný tisk.
• Barevnou reprodukci obrázků si hradí autoři sami (2000 Kč za jednu tiskovou stranu včetně DPH).
• Práce předaná redakci se považuje za definitivní, imprimované znění, schválené ke zveřejnění vedoucím příslušného pracoviště.
• Před zveřejněním obdrží autoři text ke korektuře. Korektury je nutné vrátit obratem, do data určeného redakcí.
  Na pozdější autorské korektury nemůže být brán z časových důvodů zřetel.
  Při autorské korektuře není dovoleno měnit, eventuálně doplňovat text.
• Rukopisy a jejich přílohy (dokumentace) se nevracejí, pokud jejich vrácení nebylo vyžádáno při zaslání rukopisu.
• Z výrobních důvodů není možné zajistit autorům separátní otisky. První autor obdrží jeden výtisk časopisu zdarma (netýká se zpráv, diskuzí, recenzí knih apod.).
• Časopis, jakožto nevýdělečný, neposkytuje honoráře za otištěné příspěvky s výjimkou těch, které si redakce zvlášť vyžádá.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE AUTHORS SUBMITTING PAPERS TO THE JOURNAL CZECH AND SLOVAK PHARMACY

The journal publishes: review papers and professional communications; original papers; short communications; papers on the history of pharmacy; news concerning the activities of pharmaceutical societies; congresses, conferences, symposia and other events; contributions concerning pharmaceutical practice; book reviews and short pieces of information (excerpts) from foreign literature as well as a limited number of abstracts from professional events organized by the Czech Pharmaceutical Society. The number and extent of abstracts must be negotiated in advance with the editorial office.
The editors accept only the papers and contributions which have not yet been published or submitted for publication to other journals.

The journal Česká a slovenská farmacie charges fees for the publication of papers which are dedicated to grantfunded research and development or research and development financed from other public funds. The price of one black-and-white printed page of the journal is 1800 CZK; of a colour page, 2000 CZK including VAT.
The required sum may be paid from the funds allocated for this research. The conditions for the publication of the texts, in English, with summaries in English and Czech, are identical with those for the publications originating from grant research. Additional 300 CZK (including VAT) is charged for the revision of printed page of all English texts. In the case of texts in English not originating from grant research, the authors pay only 300 CZK for the revision of one printed page. The publication order form will be sent to the author, together with a confirmation that the manuscript has been shipped by the editorial office. When the filled-in order form is delivered to the

the paper will be immediately sent to referees for review. The appropriate sum will be appraised during the proofreading stage.
The tax certificate will be sent to the author after publication of the paper.
The full texts of all papers together with English and Czech summaries will be also published on the internet pages of the journals published by ČLS JEP (www.cls.cz).

Manuscript Style

1. The heading should express the content of the paper briefly and comprehensively. Serial papers must refer to the previous works in a footnote.
2. Authors – surname and abbreviation of other names without degrees (e.g. JANÁK J.)
3. Institution – full name, city, country.
4. Introduction stating the theme of the paper and the issue under study – only in original papers.
5. Experimental Section – a detailed description of the materials and methods employed. The methods from the literature are not described in detail, but referred to appropriately. Likewise, routine, commonly used methods are not described either.
6. Results – a short and comprehensive summary of the achieved results; this may can be also presented in the form of tables and graphs. Duplicate information is unacceptable.
7. Discussion – a critical evaluation of the results and their confrontation with literature data.
8. Conclusion can be formulated as a separate chapter only if it substantially differs from the summary.
9. Summary (in original papers, short communications, review papers, and papers on the history of pharmacy) in Czech or Slovak and in English makes it possible to understand the essence and results of the paper and helps to disseminate the paper by means of the Internet. It is written in the third person, including not more than 200 words and 3 to 5 key words.
10. Literature – only topical sources are to be referred to in the paper and they are to be listed in the order of appearance. Journal citations present the full title of the paper with the names of all authors.

12. Short communications – a preliminary, brief presentation of new research results without discussion. For summary and key-words see item 9; length of text, 1200–1500 words with not more than 3 tables or figures and 3 references to the literature.

Technical requirements

• Manuscripts are to be sent to the editorial office in the hard copy with one more copy (including documentation); the hard copy may be without the author’s name (for referees).
• The literature is referred to with numbered indexes, e.g. Tomíček 34). The nomenclature of organic chemistry according to IUPAC must be followed. Technical terms, abbreviations and symbols must comply with valid standards, in particular SI.
• The text and figures on an electronic carrier must be enclosed.
• Photographs and outputs from devices are accepted in the following formats: tif, eps and jpg (for the best quality preferably in a compression ratio of 10–12), graphs in the Excel programme, processed for single colour printing.
  Colour reproductions of figures are paid by the authors (2000 CZK including VAT for one printed page).
• The paper submitted to the editorial office is considered to be final, passed for press, and approved for publication by the head of the appropriate institute.
• Prior to publication, the authors will receive the text for proofreading.
  Proof sheets are to be send by return of post within the date determined by the editorial office.
  Later revisions by the author cannot be taken into consideration because of time considerations. The author must not change or supplement the text of the proof sheets.
  The manuscript and any supplements (documentation) are not returned unless specifically requested on submission.
• Due to the conditions of manufacture, it is not possible to produce reprints for authors.
• The first author will receive one copy of the journal free of charge (this does not apply to news, discussions, book reviews, etc.).
• As the journal is non-profit, it does not pay for the published papers excepting those ordered by the editorial office.
