Some of the patients using human insulin in cartridges for insulin pens have to pay from Jan. 1, 1999 part of thecosts of this treatment. The author envisages a possible rational saving on treatment of diabetics in particular ifaimed auditing activities are used focused on the correct indication of human insulins.
