Overview

The contribution represents a review of literature surveying a discussing the possibilities of therapy and physiotherapeutic procedures in cases of hamstring in injuries in sportsmen and sportswomen in relation to the individual phases of healing. The review draws attention to the fact that procedures applied in the acute phase of hamstring injuries are not completely uniform as far as suitability of pharmacological therapy is concerned, but subsequent procedures and their principles in the following phases of healing are generally shared.
