Overview
The article follows the previous text dealing with the interpretation of the course of motoric development of the child, based on basic biomechanical principles and learning. That is how it different from the prevailing opinion that the development is given by releasing (maturation) of inherited (genetically determined) motor patterns. In view of the extent the problem is divided in two independent parts. This second part includes monokinetic, dromokinetic and kratikinetic stage of the suckling period and the toddler period, partly extending into the preschool and young-school age. The previously described Bernstein principle of controlled restriction and releasing of DPF is further supplemented and development in the concept of dynamic system according to Thelen. Very briefly is outlined the problem of motoric disorders and the conclusion summarizes basic principles of alternative interpretation of the course of motor development.
