Overview
In the authors’ department the effect of various types of treatment or their combination in the therapyof ostearthritis was assessed and evaluated. Types of treatment: remedial exercise, electrotherapy,balneotherapy, laser therapy and medicamentous analgesic therapy. The effect was evaluatedaccording to subjective data of the patients before the onset and after termination o f treatment. Basedon the results assembled from the patients, the authors found that the greatest effect was obtainedby combinations of all types of treatment.
