Overview

New stimulation protocols in the in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection and embryotransfer (IVF/ICSI+ET) programme bring into a part of treated infertile couples the increased risc of complications and increased expenses. Minimal stimulation is cheeper than standard stimulation. Her satisfactory results in pregancy rates per ovum pick-up and ET are an attractive alternative for younger patients with tubal factor infertility, who do not realize the conditions for treatment insurance coverage.

Key words:
minimal stimulation - in vitro fertilization - embryotransfer.
