Overview

Carpal tunnel syndrome has been the most frequently acknowledged occupational disease in the Czech Republic; therefore it has become a particularly topical problem not only in occupational medicine. The authors deal with one of possible modes of prevention and therapy of the disease – exercise based on auto therapy with neurodynamic mobilization elements. The principles of the therapy are summarized and specific system of suitable kinds of simple exercises is introduced.
