Overview
The advisory evaluation problems in atopic eczema at the child age presents most difficult problems in the selection of future profession or job, since the working disability of persons suffering from eczema is relatively frequent and relapses occur. The advisory physician can positively participate in the prevention of working disability while evaluating the general health state of the child before the end of compulsory education in connection with the acknowledged status of the medically disabled person and thereby help in the selection of suitable qualification and resulting employment. The contribution briefly deals with atopic eczema in general from the history through etiopathogenesis and prevention. The second part deals with the advisory problems of the child age.
