Medical assessment activities undertaken for the purposes of social security and employment are the inherent part of the medical and preventive care. Authorities of social security (Czech administration of social security, Ministry of labour and social issues) or employment (offices for work) issue expert evidence of the assessment of health status of individuals by means of their physicians reviewers or review committees. The medical assessment activity has its rules and specificities in the system of medical examinations, assessment of health status, objectivization of functional disorders, proving decisive evidence and requirements for the expert evidence.
