Assessment of the longterm unfavourable health status in the affection of extremities is carried on according to the Annex No. 2 of the directive No. 284/1995 of the Digest in the valid wording. The author presents his experience with the assessment and findings from available textbooks on traumatology, surgery and orthopedy related to the issue.
