We are presenting the case of retroperitoneal tumor, which is a tumor with a high malignancy potential. Recommended therapy of these tumors is radical surgery, which is often difficult due to its anatomy and frequent advanced stage presentation. That is the reason why it has to be provided in specialized centers.
According to the STRASS study there is no benefit of combined neoadjuvant radiotherapy with radical surgical approach compared to surgical therapy alone.
