Overview
The authors describe the case of a 19-year-old female patient with aquagenic wrinkling of the palms (aquagenic keratoderma). A current overview of this condition is provided. Aquagenic keratoderma is a relatively rare disorder occurring in direct association with water exposure. The histopathological findings are nonspecific. Given the frequent association with cystic fibrosis, this condition should be excluded in affected patients.
