Dermatosurgery and its Crucial Position in the Field of Dermatology and Venereology

Overview
In this article the authors summarize their long-standing experience in dermatosurgery. They emphasize it’s outstanding position in dermatology from the point of view of patient’s benefit. This fact is illustrated with statistical figures of early detection of malignant tumors. Dermatosurgery is also of great importance for the close cooperation with histopathologists and for the integrity of dermatovenerology.
