In this review, the composition, properties and indications of MTA are mentioned, along with the techniques for its use in various clinical situations like pulp capping, internal and external root resorptions, lateral and strip perforations, furcal perforation, apexification, root-end filling and root-canal filling. A case report of repairing furcal perforation using MTA is also documented.
