Private Sexual Life of Female Prostitutes

Overview

In 88 female prostitutes 18-29 years old we examined main characteristics of their private sexualactivities. The results were statistically compared with the results of a control group including 173women of the same age from the representative national survey of sexual behavior of Czechs. Inthe group of prostitutes signifi cantly lower age of the fi rst intercourse was found (mean 15.7 years),three times higher number of sexual partners, more casual sexual contacts. They masturbate morethe twice more than the controls. In the private sexual life prostitutes are more concentrated onthe satisfaction of their male partners – they state more frequently fellatio and masturbation of thepartner. Compared with controls they also have more abortions, STDs and sexual dysfunctions. Halfof the sample state homosexual experiences compared with 7 % of the controls.
