The article is a continuation of a previous paper on motivational therapy. In the first part [10] thedevelopment of the concept of motivational therapy, its indications, comparison with other therapeutic methods and clinical use were described. The aim of motivational therapy is to increaserapidly the patient’s internal motivation for change, based on the actual motivational stage, tofacilitate the success of future treatment and reduce the number of drop outs. In this part, theauthors provide practical examples of motivational interviews, incl. examples of pitfalls of thisprocedure in clinical practice.
