The work follows up in the previous article published in this journal (2/1999).The authors inform about clinical and laboratory evaluation of bonded and non-bondedamalgam restorations up to six years of clinical service. 75 bonded and 62 non-bonded amalgamrestorations and 11 seals were evaluated using modified USPHS criteria. In-vitro evaluationhas compared marginal steps to a standard set of Simulated restorations, and calculated theIndex of Marginal Fracture. Statistical analysis of clinical and laboratory results showed nosignificant differences between both techniques.
