Polyphenolic Compounds from Hamamelis virginiana L.

Two phenolic acids and two flavone aglycones were isolated from the aboveground part of Hamamelisvirginiana L. and identified with the use of thin-layer chromatography, melting points, andspectroscopic methods as gallic acid, ethyl gallate, quercetin, and kaempferol.
