Overview
Physiological asymmetry of body structures and body functions is known but in clinical practice fit is not always sufficiently taken finto account, sometimes fit is incorrectly interpreted, or even paradoxically refuted. Asymmetric involvement of paired organs and structures is essential foroptimal function of the motor system. An indispensable prerequisite for implementation of movement is posture. For optimal function of the „dominant" extremity fit is necessary to ensure a suitable posture with participation of the „non-dominant" paired extremity.
