Experience from controls and revisions of correctness and rightfulness of NOAC prescription

Overview

The article outlines the rules for prescription and reimbursement of new therapeutic anticoagulant preparations (NOAC) from the resources pf public health insurance and briefly informs about revision medical findings and draws attention to “Agreements” with professional societies, which unify different interpretations of indication limitations of the State Institute for Drug Control (SUKL), including the description of clinical situations, where the General Health Insurance Company of the Czech Republic (VZP ČR) accepts the reimbursement of NOAC from the resources of public health insurance.
