Test verbální fluence jako nástroj diferenciální diagnostiky demence a mírné kognitivní poruchy od fyziologického stárnutí: přehledová studie

Overview

Demenci lze ve svých důsledcích chápat jako poruchu lingvistickou, neurogenní a kognitivní. Jelikož se s prodlužující průměrnou délkou života zvyšuje i počet osob s demencí, je třeba věnovat včasné diagnostice zvýšenou pozornost. Detailní zhodnocení nejen jazykových procesů může poskytnout důležité informace lékařům i rodinným příslušníkům, a to zejména v nastavení plánu adekvátní terapie. Výsledky testu verbální fluence reflektují kromě celkové úrovně jazykových schopností i funkční integritu exekutivních funkcí a sémantické paměti. Vzhledem k jednoduchosti a časové nenáročnosti se test verbální fluence jeví jako vhodný nástroj pro diferenciální diagnostiku demence, mírné kognitivní poruchy a fyziologického stárnutí. Tento přehledový článek shrnuje dosavadní poznatky o jeho využití, přičemž pozornost je věnována především strategiím shlukování a přepínání, které se stále více dostávají do popředí zájmu odborné veřejnosti.
